Wireless Navigation
This project is how we can control anything(in our case a bot navigation) with help of motion sensing ……. For this purpose we controlled a bots motion with help of motion sensor which transmits data wirelessly to the bot we are controlling. For this purpose we are using Development Board by ilabs, wireless cc module to transmit and receive data wirelessly, a motion sensor, BO series Motors………. WORKING PRINCIPLE
Motion Sensor gives analog value at its output ranging from 0.85v to 2.45v (from one vertical extreme to other), this analog values are fed to ADC(Analog to Digital Converter) pins (PORTA) of micro-controller (ATMEGA 16), the program written in Controllers micro-controller converts this analog value received from motion sensor to digital value. The program is written in such a way that it computes its middle value automatically according to the ground level at the time it is switched on. This controller then decides from its digital value the way it has to go and by what speed(3 different speed for each direction) from its angle and direction of tilt and transmit this information by cc module wirelessly to the bot we are controlling. The bot receives this instructions, decode it and then moves in that direction accordingly As you might have seen in video the controller was bulky not so easy to handle and required external source for power and also sometimes had problems of loose connection, all this problems had been removed in new controller
A small development board is used with Atmega 16a(to left side with LEDS fixed on PORTC just to make it more attractive), CC module is also fixed inside(at right top edge) with a small and thin battery(blue colored at right most bottom edge) and the motion sensor module is fixed on top layer.
